On Friday April 26th, 2019, Both Digital Media and Interactive Media classes went to Tulane University and Delgado Community College. We learned about what classes they have there. At Tulane University, we went to their Digital Design Program -- GRAPHIC DESIGN + GAME ART & ANIMATION + INTERACTIVE DESIGN. At Delgado Community College, we went to both their Visual Communication and Computer Information and Technology programs. My dad came along as well.
When we arrived at Tulane University, they gave us donuts and popcorn to eat and orange juice and water to drink. My dad got me a coke from one of the vending machines but I saved it for lunch. We went to different rooms and the teacher explained what they do at Tulane University. In one of the rooms, they allowed me to draw a Poke Ball on a clear whiteboard using a marker.
We then arrived at Delgado to see what they do in their classes. I also told them about my summer computer repair camp idea. They approved of my idea a lot. We took a tour of the campus and went through different apartments.
I had already went to Delgado once before. I signed up for a Hahnville High School field trip to Delgado and my dad came along with me. Heather, Taylor K, and Jakob went there as well. My dad and I knew where Delgado was, so it was easy to get there.
